I would like to suggest that non-electrical exit sign lighting technology offers the opportunity to achieve 100% energy savings. This is substantially better than LED exit signs can provide. Specifically, code compliant photoluminescent exit signs are tested to the same performance standard as are electrical exit signs and building and fire codes generally accept these signs as replacements for electrical signs. The single requirement for photoluminescent exit signs is that there is a minimum illumination on the face of the sign while the building is occupied. Further, EverGlow photoluminescent exit signs contain no toxic or radioactive components and are constructed of 100% recyclable aluminum. Low maintenance, recyclable, zero energy consumption and absolutely the most reliable and effective in all conditions as no other emergency lighting technology can provide.
